National Night Out is a community event held typically on the first Tuesday evening in August in counties, cities and towns across the country. It is an event designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. This annual event provides a great opportunity to bring police, fire and rescue personnel, local organizations, churches and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Last year, 3CY and Harriet E. Brown Community Center staff planned and facilitated the 1st Annual NNO at the community center. It is hard to believe a year has passed and it is time to plan for the 2nd annual NNO event. This year, National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7th from 6-8 pm and will once again be held at the HEBCC. Please plan to join us for an evening of fun in our community!
