The Ward Virts Concert Series

The Ward Virts Concert Series is held on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. through out the year.  The series' is held at the Prince Frederick Campus.  Tickets are free, but limited, please contact Ricardo Perez at 443-550-6000.

The Ward Virts Piano Project, Inc. is a unique effort to celebrate the life and memory of Ward Virts, a talented concert trained pianist who hailed from Southern Maryland.

Inspired by Ward's life and spirit, a group of Ward's friends and classmates conceived the Ward Virts Piano Project in order to bring the love of life, beauty, and music that Ward embodied to a new generation of Southern Maryland students, performers, and appreciative audiences.

A Bosendorfer Grand Piano given as a gift from the Ward Virts Piano Project Group to the College of Southern Maryland's Prince Frederick Campus is a gift to the entire community . The Ward Virts Piano Project, the Arts Council of Calvert County and CSM are partnering in building a vibrant arts program centering on this magnificent gift
