The Fitzmaurice Band With influences spanning bluegrass and country to jazz, classical, international folk and classic rock, the Fitzmaurice Band has developed a sound truly its own. The band’s magic is rooted in the fact that they are not just band mates, but also the best of friends which can clearly be seen on stage. From the CSM lawn, experience how this band’s love for music comes across with perfect clarity.
Terence McArdle & Big Trouble Terence McArdle and Big Trouble delights swing dancers, roots music fans, and blues lovers alike with a combination of swinging guitar, rough hewn vocalizing, swinging shuffl e grooves, and pulsing horns. Big Trouble sounds both retro and modern—fun but still bluesy and deep. Put on your dancing shoes for an evening of big fun.
Alegria A gypsy jazz trio with Latin influences, Alegria brings an engaging mix of Brazilian, Cuban, Caribbean, Spanish Flamenco, and American jazz standards to the Twilight Series. The Alegria trio consists of guitarist Peter Richardson who peppers his solos with surprise flourishes from Classical, Flamenco, and Gypsy Swing music, bass player Bob Bowen who brings the bass line unusually to the fore with vibrant styling, and drummer Drex Weaver who deftly employs brushes and subtle hand percussion for Alegria’s delicate ballads.
On Tuesday and Wednesday at the other CSM campuses.

Maritime Concert Series: Geoff Kaufman Fri July 16
For the past twenty-eight years, Geoff Kaufman has been helping audiences discover the truth, humor, and beauty in folk music. Songs of the sea, songs of the earth, songs of the heart and the spirit, ancient ballads, work songs, and songs of love--all of these are likely to be woven into one of Geoff's concerts. At the core of Geoff's performance is his rich tenor voice and an exuberant love of singing. And part of that love is to entice audiences to sing along, to share in the exhilaration of full-throated vocalization. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the museum auditorium. A $5 donation per person is requested to help cover costs. Plan to come early and eat supper overlooking the lighthouse: light fare, wine and beer available for purchase starting at 6 p.m.
