The Young Eagles Program, a program started in 1992 by the Experimental Aircraft Association.  The program, which normally operates out of the St. Mary's County Airport, teaches kids about airplane parts and safety, the physics of flight, and also provides scholarships to students who excel in aviation learning and have a financial need.
